The music festival Viva! L.A. has published last March 29 on its social media the complete lineup of the artists performing on its 10th edition this June 25 at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

One of the most culturally diverse and Latino-influenced cities is getting ready to celebrate a festival dedicated entirely to Latin music, promising a great party for the entire community.

Originally called Viva! Pomona, the festival was born a decade ago as an initiative of Rene Contreras to give space to emerging bands from the suburbs in Los Angeles and unite all people who appreciate music regardless of language. This festival has generated a huge cult following over the years to become the great event it is today.

Contreras’ desire has never been to create a festival for the money but to showcase all Latin music’s talent. This edition of Viva! L.A., produced by Greenvoice, will be a celebration of its tenth anniversary although Viva! Pomona shows will continue to be held regularly.

Music for all tastes

Viva! L.A. will be loaded with Latin music stars headlined by Daddy Yankee — this will be one of his last appearances —J Balvin, Kali Uchis, Becky G, and other urban artists.

In addition to this, the multi-genre festival brings something for everyone: Salsa, rancheras, rock, indie, and much more, with performances by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Willie Colón, Paquita La Del Barrio, Ivy Queen, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Ed Maverick, Cazzu, La Sonora Dinamita, Los Dos Carnales, Carin Leon, Cuco, Devendra Banhart, Chicano Batman, AB Quintanilla & The Kumbia All Starz, among others artists.

Tickets for the event will go on pre-sale on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. PT, and at 2 p.m., they will go on sale to the general public. More information on ticket sales can be found on the official Viva! website.

In addition to everything Contreras and the Viva! Festival do for emerging artists, this year they will go a step further and donate $1 for every ticket sold to the non-profit organization No Us Without You LA, which focuses on helping undocumented immigrant communities in Los Angeles through food programs providing support for entire families.
