Named after the Spanish word for an individual key on keyboard (aka “Tecla”), the 2021 TECLA Awards will honor the best of the best amongst Latinx social media stars across eight different categories.
All nominations submitted during the public nominations phase between August 2 - 31, 2021 will be considered and determined by the Hispanicize Advisory Council, an esteemed panel of Latinx PR and social media executives and other experts in the digital media industry. The Hispanicize Advisory Council will determine final nominees and winners with the exception of ‘Creator of the Year’ winner which will be voted on by the public. Four nominee finalists per category will be announced on Wednesday, September 15th during our TECLA Nominee Special marking the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month program. Hispanicize will culminate with its #UnidosTogether Summit on Friday, October 15th, during which all 2021 TECLA Award winners will be announced.
