Inside Episode 20

Check out the latest ENTERTAINMENT edition of Hispanicize Hangout featuring iconic actor and activist, Luis Guzmán.  We loved having Luis last month on our ACTIVISM panel at Hispanicize #UnidosTogether Virtual Summit so much, that we invited him back for a 1 on 1 conversation to dive in a bit deeper.  Hear about what Luis has been doing while #ShelteringInPlace on his farm in Vermont, hundreds of miles from where he grew up on NYC’s Lower Eastside.  Best known for his roles in classic films such as Boogie Nights, Traffic, Carlito’s Way and so many others, we took the convo way back to Luis’ humble beginnings as a social worker which led him to follow his other path of activism that he’s still very much on today.  Luis also talks about his journey as a Latinx actor, and his message of inclusion to Hollywood coming off the recent Latinx omissions at this year’s Emmy’s.  We hope you enjoy Luis Guzmán as much as we did in this week’s ENTERTAINMENT edition of Hispanicize Hangout.
